About Crime Watch 1153
Crimewatch
1153 is named for the police Reporting
Area.
This area is bounded by Buckner Blvd. (west), Ferguson Rd. (east),
Peavy Rd.
(northeast) and the rail road tracks (northwest).
Unofficially, the
reporting area itself is split into two sections, north (on the
opposite side
of Ash Creek) and south (our side of the creek).
You can query the City's online crime map system by choosing Police Reporting Area 1153. (Scroll to the bottom of the page.) Police beats cover a larger area. Our Police Beat is 231. Beat statistics are available here and Reporting area statistics are here. To view crime maps, you need to select a reporting area or a beat and also a type of incident.
Zip code crime statistics are available from the Foundation for Community Empowerment.
